Default Two days till xmas. Remember to be safe and kind.

Well the holidays have been busy and hectic. I'm ready for xmas if I could just get the presents wrapped without the kids seeing. I'm working a deadline too and the kids are on 3 weeks xmas vacation. My 3 year old decided this week that it is fun to run from us at parking lots. So scary. I had to buy a harness for her to keep her safe.

The neighbors dogs got out and were stopping traffic in the street. They must be gone for the holidays. Stopped to put them back in the yard.

Be careful out there shopping with your little ones. Everybody is rushing and we all need to be careful. If you see someone or a pet out there who needs help stop and show your xmas spirit.

To those that are on the street corners and at the gas stations in this biting cold weather. Show them a little kindness...if not a few bucks than a meal in a bag.

Happy Holidays everyone to you and yours.

Jesus is the reason for the season.

Izzy

You ahd me on all with the exception of the panhandlers.

I continue to see the same exact ones that a local news station did a story on not long ago. Recap: they offered to bring them homeless into a local shelter, the shelter requires that those who enter simply do two things- first being strong attempts to look for a job and the other attending AA meetings (as per the cases on hand). They did not want to look for work or go to meetings so they left Makes no sense to me when they are offered help, they refuse it. I've had some tell me they don't want food, they want money!

If the people I see have a dog, I am more inclined to pick up dog food and give it to them

Merry Christmas!
