Arrow Snowing

It's been snowing here in the IF area since last night around 8:00. Nothing like what Denver got and dry powdery stuff, not even snowman making snow

I say count your lucky stars it didn't fall as ice rain first, then unload ten hours of heavy sleet on you, and THEN snow on top of that!!
At least what you have can be shoveled!

Oh trust me, you're right. I much prefer snow to freezing rain and/or sleet!

my3arabs will become famous soon enoughmy3arabs will become famous soon enough
We got snowed on here in Buhl starting Thursday around 4:30 pm till about 6am Friday. I have no Idea how much we got but it is much more than this area is use to getting. Right now we are at 17 degrees and sunny, a very beautiful day today but too cold to go out and do much. Our snow was a semi wet one and our roads are frozen. It is funny how all the bad drivers come out when there is snow and ice onthe roads!

I just hope that I-90, HWY 20, & I-86/84 stay passable so my hubby and son can get home this evening! TG my husband grew up driving in the snow and ice!

Mine is on his way in now as well. He was near Price, UT last time I spoke with him. Lucky man got to do his 34 hour restart in Denver

Our snow had just enough moisture to make the roads icy/slick. You're right, it does seem that those who drive erractic on ice tend to come out

I'm a good driver in the spring, summer, and fall...but I suck on snow and ice..
That's why I stayed home for five days after the big snow here. I tried to put the lives of my fellow Missourians ahead of my own needs and wants....and boy how I craved a BigMac while cooped up..

We're predicted now to get snow Christmas morning, afternoon, and night - not too much, just a light snow

I stay off the roads too, as much as possible. Our roads today are horrible. It rained all night last night and was real warm today so everything has been melting and the city streets are a huge icy river. I am so glad that I have a
4x4 right now.

Hubby is now on his way to Kent WA and he is worried about the passes being slick. He came home on I-90 and missed all of the snow and ice till he got to IF and then to Buhl.

Wish I took it. Since I have to be in SoCal for business and can't go ski at Schweitzer until late season, looking at these photos on their site is torture but I can't help myself...
