Relocating to Rathdrum area...... (Sandpoint, Spirit Lake: new home, school district, living)

I've been checking into schools for our daughter, as we're trying to decide on where to start looking to make a new homestead, since my husband is taking a new job in the area. I can't seem to find a link to Rathdrum HS. They are listed as one of the highest ranked in the area, however, Sandpoint has a lot to offer. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Also, any suggestions about the local areas like, PF, CDA, Sandpoint, Liberty Lake with not just the schools, but the cost of living as well. We have a very active daughter going into the 9th grade who excells at sports & academics & would like to keep her that way. Any information or input would be much appreciated. We're sad to be leaving Ohio, but looking forward to the next adventure in life........

The high school in Rumdum is Lakeland High School. Their website is at Lakeland Joint School District 272 - Welcome. Thie high school in Spirit Lake, which is about ten miles or so north of Rathdrum is Timberlake Jr-Sr High School and their information can be found on the same website.
There are some local sports clubs for kids like Sting Soccer and Crush Softball.
Rathdrum is growing and now has more banks and businesses than it used to have.

I have lived in the area my entire life, and traveled A LOT to many other states. In my other travels I have never found somewhere that I have found as beautiful or "hometown" as Rathdrum. As a substitute I have seen all of the schools in the area and think that Timberlake and Lakeland both are great high schools. They have a different make-up of kiddos; however, they are both great in their own ways! If you enjoy fishing, hiking, seasons (we received enough snow last year for my lab to stand on and look over our eight-foot fence), and VERY kind people then this is definitely a place to visit to see if it's a match for you!
