Default Lake Alturas/Pettit area hot springs?

Anyone know of any hot springs located around the areas of Lakes Alturas/Pettit?

Also, if anyone has details on the camping sites found at either Alturas or Pettit, that'd be nice. We're not fond on camping with neighbours or paying for a plot of dirt, so let us know!

Thanks!

Alturas has a great campground.
I was pulling a trailer so keep that in mind.
Very wooded , large level spots, hidded shaded type camps right by the lake.
Spaced far enough apart so your neighbors won't bother you.
Wolves in camp at night. ( not kidding ).
Good fishing with night crawlers.
Also the back of the lake there were a few primitive camps. Just keep going up the road and you'll find em.

Sounds great! Were those the campgrounds with fees? Also, what "amenities" did the campgrounds have? All we need is a fire pit.

There was a nice old guy camp ground host that took our 8 or 10 bucks to camp there.
nice fire ring and wood laying every where. Tables, water pit toilet...

Have fun and get some pictures to show us.
