Thinking of moving to PF soon.
Does anyone here work at the PF Cabelas store?
I had some questions on working there that I can not find answers to on their website.
I am thinking of applying there for employment as my past experience in firearms and uotdoor activities would make me more than qualified.
I need to know ballpark starting hourly wage for a Firearms/ camping sales clerk.
How about dress code for men, beard or goatees ok?
hair lenghth?
Benefits? If so are they OK?
I do not expect to make a carrer there only work for maybe 1-2 years until I can get my business up and running again.
Thanks

I know Buck knives just laid off a bunch of folks in Post Falls. Seems like many of them would try to get jobs at Cabella's. Point being they may not have any jobs open there FWIW.

I work at Cabelas in Post Toasties. The benefits are very good for retail. You get two weeks paid vacation after a year and the employee discount is very good. I work at night but I think the pay range for the sales outfitters is in the $9-11 per hour range.

Thanks for the info.
Do you know if the male employees are allowed beards or goatees?
Are the employees allowed to wear ball caps on duty?
Why do you call it Post Toasties?
forgive my ignorance but I am in Arizona and looking for good info that I have not been able to get anywhere else.

The daytime employees can not wear ball caps. I know there are folks during the day that have goatees, but I don't think full beards are allowed.
"Post Toasties" is like Post Cereal. It is a joke.
