City of Rocks
This park is just so incredible!!
We found it soon after we moved to Utah...that year there were no campfires allowed in UT, so we looked for somewhere "close" to go camping...boy did we pick the right spot!
Although it is a world-class rock climbing park, it seems few people know of it. They are missing out. It is very primitive- two taps, but no sinks/showers, vault toilets, no amenities. If I knew this beforehand, I might not have gone. But it is more than made up for with the welcoming climbs, making young and old feel that they can climb to the top of the world.
And what happened in Almo? Did they come into some $$?
