What to do in Driggs area?
We're going to be overnighting in Driggs two nights (21 and 22 August). We'll already have been in Yellowstone for six days, and we're coming through Jackson to Driggs. So, what's to do in the Driggs area?
We're traveling with a group ranging from 2 years old up to 65. We're not hardcore hikers, although we're not opposed to improved trails like the ones in Yellowstone. We'll probably drive to Grand Targhee (although we'll try to miss traffic for the cycling thing on Saturday). We do like quirky, one-of-a-kind things (I've read about the Spud Drive-In and the Teton Valley Open Air Market).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Sorry I don't know the amenities of the area like a local from over in that portion of Idaho, but the Grand Teton NP is definitely prime hiking, fishing, and even car camping. Some of my best childhood memories of the outdoors were from that area, though I was a very self-entertained kid, and preferred spotting interesting wildlife and clear stargazing to electronics and other toys. If your kids are the same (I doubt it this day in age, but who can say?), they'd appreciate that area just as much as the adults. I'm presuming a lot since you said you'd be touring Yellowstone NP as well.

Our daughter will definitely love the wildlife spotting, stars, etc. Our son has visual impairment, so he prefers the running around. Sounds like there should be something for both! Thanks!

There is a wildlife sanctuary in Driggs also, that you might be able to stop and visit. I can't remember the name of it, but it might come up on a Google search.

Everybody in Driggs loves dogs, the scruffier the better !!
I'd suggest findin' a few local mangy mutts to play with. They're all over the place in Driggs and sure to be root tootin' good time for all !

Oh yeah, PLENTY of space to run around. Also good lakes for fishing and boating, as they're relatively untouched and mellow compared to other lakes to the West and North.
