Twin Falls? (how much, Home Depot, buy)

Hi,

I lived in Twin Falls with family(they're no longer there) from 1995-97 and currently in Albuquerque(I've also lived Colorado and Virginia). I'm seriously thinking of moving back to Idaho and would like to live in Twin Falls again. I was wondering how much the town has changed in the ten years I've been gone and there is to do besides looking at nature's best(ie. Shosone(spelling?) Falls, Craters of the Moon) and ski.

It was really starting to boom with Costco, Target, and Fred Meyer opening up, quite different from the usual small town. For the record I lived in the neighbohood off of Eastland Dr near K-Mart.

Hi, read the thread "advice please" It is about Twin and the surrounding area. It really has grown and grown in the past two yrs that I have been here.

I live near Twin Falls and travel there at least once a month...have for the past 8 years. Twin has grown with many new stores (Dell, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Pier One, Sportsman's Warehouse, Best Buy and more). It also seems to have more of a local, hip culture, which is nice. There is a great coffee shop there - Java. Lots of locals meet there and it seems like a good place to get to know folks. The College of Southern Idaho has also grown and is a nice addition.

I was offered a job in Twin 8 years ago but did not take it because I felt the town lacked diversity and I worried about the conservative nature of it. I think those are still issues, but the town itself is changing in positive ways.
