Cool What's this about "rednecks" in & around CDA??!!!

My family and I are really considering CDA ( a move from California) in the next few months. We had visited a few months ago and truely enjoyed the area and believe it to be a great place to raise our 3 kids ( 13,10,7). It seems like a slower pace of life compared to how we live here in California!! I met someone last week that spent the summer working in CDA and he wondered why we would want to live in such a touristy redneck area~~~ what is he talking about?? I never saw any rednecks ( I don't even know what they look like!) He really made CDA sound not that great~~~
Please, for you locals let me know the scoop on your area~~~~
Thanks a million!

Default Cda

Hi there, I grew up in California and left as an adult and never went back. Don't miss it at all. I live in Sandpoint but am considering CDA. I love the beach in the summer and all the awesome bike trails there. There is lots more shopping than in Sandpoint hence more jobs. There are all kinds of festivals in summer as well. My son and his family have lived in that area for years and love it too. I think you would love CDA. Don't believe everything you read. Some people aren't happy no matter where they are.

Thats just stupid.. BUT then again I know plenty of rednecks right here in So Cal.;-)
I've been all over this country, and I could not think of a better place to raise kids.
Compared to Calif. you are trading WAY WAY up if you go to CDA or anywhere in N. Idaho IMHO.
Also you will get alot of misinformation from people in Cali. anytime you bring up leaving the state, unless they are planning on leaving too.
Good people are fleeing this state in droves, and people that are stuck here will always have something bad to say no matter where you say you are going.
