I'm looking to move to SE Idaho. I have returned to school at 43 yrs and am pursuing a degree, to teach ESL (English as a Second language) does anyone know about the employment opportunities there? Also how is the rents/cost of living there? I pay $950 for a tiny one bedroom and that is without G/E.

There's a need for ESL teachers here, for sure. Starting salary is 30k. That may not sound like much where you are, but consider that you can still buy a 3 bdrm home with a nice lot for under 100k; in fact, occasionally you may get that with 5 acres for under 100k. As for rent - well you can rent a 3 bdrm house for half of what you're paying now.
