I've only been to southern Idaho (Majic Valley) really, Twin Falls and Buhl. Been as far as Sun Valley, Hailey, Ketchum, just to see it. It was nice up there. driven through eastern ID (Pocatello),but only stopped for gas and Craters of the Moon NM.

First snow of the "season" occured on Oct. 11, hit south central Idaho harder than SE (uncommon) and hit even the tropics of Idaho pretty good (Boise). It's melted of now as the temps have climbed back into the 50's and 60's.

Well our last snow of the previous season in Idaho Falls was on June 11 of this year and then we got snow on Oct. 11. Got four months of no snow, however this past winter was more of a real winter than we've had in about 15 years

No. I've only lived in SLO County. Even when I've travelled, I've never driven in snow.

The leaves are chaing colors and starting to drop here in the Coeur d'Alene area. The birds are migrating through and draining the bird feeders faster than I can fill them.

The roads aren't bad in the snow if you just "SLOW DOWN". When the raods are bad there is nothing wrong with coasting from stop sign to stop sign.
