Hi Toyman!

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I have to jump on here when I have the time at lunch. With regard to distance from CDA....I'm not sure. A half hour? Maybe more. It really will depend on what I find for employment and housing. I don't want to be too far north as that translates into more snow. I may have to work in Spokane if I can't find anything in CDA or surrounding area. Ideally to be between Spokane and CDA would be good.

Yes, I'm taking vacation time in April. I was there last April for a week. It was overcast/rainy some days and other days---sunshine. I may wait and come up in May this time. Not sure yet.

I'm taking notes on all of the recommendations everyone is giving me regarding areas to look at. I really appreciate everyone's kindness.

I honestly don't understand why people get so upset when people from other states move into their area. I do get that some folks bring with them what they wanted to leave behind, but for the most part, we all have to come from somewhere! I haven't experienced that kind of attitude from anyone in Idaho and that really impresses me. What a great bunch of people!

Most people move to Idaho because they choose to not because they have to. I got a call the other day from a company that handles relocations for people and the lady said they don't have many Corporate relocations to Coeur d'Alene. I told her there aren't many corporations here she said "oh".
