Default I too am thinking about a move

I am tired of all the politics here in Ca. I do live in a town of 100 people. There is 35,000 in the whole county. I have been to Idaho and have been learning as much as I can. I friend here has a house in Bonners Ferry. He will be moving there after his youngest one leaves the roost. I am looking at around Orofino and Kamiah. I was offered a job in Kamiah but couldn't make the move at that time. So someone tell me Hows Orofino? I see posts about Kamiah all the time but none from Orofino. I met a police officer here and he had Idaho plates on his personal car. After talking to him I found out he was from Kamiah. He was upset here because on our busy road in town no-one stopped to let him cross the street. I think at that time he wasn't sure if a move to California was the best decision. He moved here for more pay. so I found out what he gave up to move here. Some for others is not the same for even other others.

You may want to edit your post to include (Kamiah/Orofino) in the title. It may attract more readers from that area.

I would say Kamiah is probably a prettier place and more rolling mountains. Orofino is kind of through a canyon and then, you go up on ridges and it's very beautiful also just a different setting. We are a few hours from there and go up often. They have hot summers and not to cold of winters but, I have heard that Orofino stays foggy due to the river and canyon. The Clearwater river is beautiful. I have heard it's great fishing. Property is still very reasonable in that area. You can go on to the real estate websites and see what is available.

One thing I like to do is get the newspaper from the areas that I like for a year and that can sometimes tell you alot about the area.
