Parents in Coeur d'Alene
I am considering a move to Coeur d'Alene with my family. I have a 9 year old daughter and I am wondering what the school district is like. Any other information you can impart to me will be much appreciated as well.
thank you in advance.

It's really cold in the winter, hard to find work, and expensive. The people are great and it's basically crime free. If you have the money/job thing lined up I'd go for it.

Great neighborhoods for kids, good schools, great place to raise a family. But absolutely...long cold winters, and you certainly want to have work lined up before moving here. It's expensive compared to some places, a real bargain compared to others. A lot of that depends on where you're coming from....

Oh yeah...Wisconsin....
Rarely colder than -10, and that would only be for a couple nights in Dec/Jan/Feb. Normally lows around 5-10, highs around 15-20'ish in the winter. And while it gets hot here in the summer, it's not the great lakes muggy heat.
So you'd be good to go on the weather issue...
