Default Energy Efficient Rebates

We just purchased a fixer upper in NID and one of the things that needed replacing was the furnace. Well, if you are thinking of getting a new one now may be the time. Avista has a $400 rebate for a furnace of over 90% efficiency and another $100 for a variable speed (which I recommend). The Obama plan will also net you up to 30% tax credit. I got a 95% unit installed for $2600. I should get $500 from the gas co. and $780 from Obama.
