Hey, I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know just when the bypass is supposed to be open? It seems like the original plan was 2-3 years of construction, but I don't know when I heard that. I can't wait, tired of dealing with downtown traffic and backups when I need to get to Pondaray.

The Daily Bee just had an article about that:
Sandpoint's Bonner County Daily Bee - Your source for Sandpoint Idaho news and information

Looks like it'll take a couple of years to complete, but traffic will be diverted to the new lanes much sooner than that--if I read it right!
