Default Kellogg time zone

I could swear when I was a kid in Cd'A that Kellogg was in the Mt Time Zone, not the Pacific. Am I wacky or when did that change?

It is and always has been PST as far I know. The mountain time zone is not far away over the hill into Montana but Kellogg is PST.

The time zone currently changes at the Montana border. At one time it changed in Idaho but they changed it because entrances to the Bunker hill Mine were in different time zones.

thanks -- I do recall when we lived in cda my dad worked in smelterville. he would leave 2 hrs early to get to work and get home before he got off. an idaho friend confirmed it use to change at cataldo -- apparently was changed in late 60's or early 70's.
