Default Property Assessment
Just Curious how things went in terms of the latest numbers from the County Assessor.

2009 v. 2008
House SP home was assessed exactly 10% lower
Our rental in CDA fell 11.6%
Our in-law's home in Hayden fell 17.3%

Heck of a movement for one year.


What will it mean for taxes I wonder?


How did it go in your neck of the woods?

Hayden up 40K from 202K.
After fighting last year when they said it was worth 272K. Just have to fight again, and make them look stupid in front of the board 2 years in a row.

it went up 20% this past year? seems impossible...so either kudos to you for a masterful purchase or good luck withe gerting the gov' to come to their senses.
