Any good ideas of the "must sees". We love all types of things indoor and outdoor, nature, adventure, etc..... Plan to travel, end of July - beginning of August. We are starting from southern CA and trying to see parts of NV, UT, ID, MT and Northern CA.

And yes, I know it's crazy! hee hee
Thank you!

How long have you got? You could spend months just exploring Idaho and not see it all. I guess the other thing to think about are what kind of activities to you want to do? Might as well look at things you can't do near home.

How about a float/raft trip on the Salmon river? I think they run some 1/2 day ones, could be fun. Do you like to hike? Plenty of great places to see. How about an ATV rental and ride for a day? I think Silver Mountain is running the Gondola year-round, might be a nice trip for a few hours. Do you mountain bike? I think there are places out of CDA and Sandpoint that offer rentals. One thing I always thought would be fun was the float-plane trip out of CDA-I'd like to see the area from the air. You get the idea...

All depends on what you want to do. There are plenty of places to go by car and check out the towns/views etc. Fun but not quite as interactive. If you can give us some ideas of things you'd enjoy doing or trying we can give better advice.
