Default small well behaved dog rental?

A middle aged friend has taken a job in Moscow and is looking for a rental house or share that would accept him.

He has good dog references from landlords. Does anyone know of a good contact or openings right now that are not on Craig's list already? thanks. He's leaving pretty quick.

Why would you want to rent a dog? OK, lame attempt at humor, good luck with finding a place.

yes, I agree, the headline was ambiguous when I went back to it....I should never try to be a headline writer eh?

as for renting a small well behaved dog it is much better than owning a large badly behaved one! Plus, it's like parenting vs. being an aunt or uncle--you get to hand them back!

Just to update: my brother did find a duplex to rent on the second day he was there. It's just one of those places you have to do it in person I guess. Also locals seemed not to use cell phone service that covers all area codes all the time. Hmmm.
