I have been in the Sandpoint CDA area for about 3 months and met only one fellow who started frothing at the mouth and blaming the Jews for everything. He had come over to give me an estimate on some work I needed done. Needless to say I did not hire him. There are pin-headed racists everywhere. I definitely met more in the Inland Empire of Southern CA than I have here.

Whether it is a white guy yelling Nazi slogans or a black guy espousing the destruction of the White Race, they are both pinheads and wrong. The best defense against these Bozo's is isolation. No audience equals no credibility. No credibility means they are relegated to squeaking on the sidelines.

Moved here with my Japanese born wife, I'm active in the community on many councils, no persistant problems of racism, I would say less than where we moved from in N. Cal.
