Post Firth, Idaho

Can someone tell me about the year round weather in Firth, ID? One weather sight I looked at said 95 inches of snow per year, and another said 45. Any information would be helpful for summer and winter. Thank you for your time!!

Dear Cindy,

Check the weather information for Idaho Falls, ID. Firth is a small town (less than 1,000 people) about 20 miles south. The area television stations: KIFI, KIDK, or KPVI have some records. Further information is available here on CDF if you check out the main page for Idaho Falls.

When you search general search engines, just substitute Idaho Falls for Firth and you'll get results. Being more rural, the snow drifts more than in Idaho Falls. However, that really depends on whether you are looking at a farm or living in the town of Firth.

I hope this info helps. If you need more info, send me a DM for general information, or people you might contact. While I could be very wrong, an educated guess may suggest you may be looking at Firth and the School District. Otherwise, I admit I'm curious what would make you look at Firth. However, that is up to you of whether or not you want to share any details.

BTW - what was the source for 95 inches of snow/year? That would be about 8 feet. That is News to me! Maybe mountains around the Firth area, but not the little town.

MSR
