Default relocating to Idaho

I will be relocating to Idaho soon. I was wanting to leave before the holidays;however, my son talked me into staying for them. I live in CA and don't know much about your winter weather and would it be a bad time to move. I just want to leave this state (since it's CA you can understand why) as soon as possible;however, since I'm going to stay around a few months longer, I'll be leaving around January or February. I am having a moving company move my goods and I will unpack the cargo. It's one of those we pack you drive movers. Also, if there is anyone that has used one of those types of moving I'd like to know how your experience was.

Hi Lisa,

Where will you relocate in Idaho? In the wintertime, you'll could find much different weather conditions between the south and north in Idaho.

True, there is a difference between northern and southern Idaho, however January and Feb. are the worse winter months no matter what part of the state you go to.

Lisa,

Don't take this wrong, but the fact that you have not really investigated your potential new home state to have to ask about the weather at this point raises some big red flags...a LOT of people fail to educate themselves about the realities of Idaho winters and last a year or two before they move back somewhere warmer...
