Hey, I just realized that we're well past the 10,000 mark for views of this thread! Who are those guys??? Or maybe it's just us posters ravenously reading each others' posts again and again ... Hi to all of you who just visit now and again and read our chat. Feel free to chime in! There's room on the Porch!

I can't believe it, but we actually had a chilly day down here. Had to go get the black down jacket . And the cottonwoods are catching color! All 3 of them! That finally puts me in the mood for Christmas shopping! Any good gift ideas for under $30?

How bout bottles of Idaho Tater juice, FOR the adults of course..

My personal fave is now the Koenig. I think it has something to do with all the copper stuff they distill it with.. GOOD stuff.. Second would be the Blue Ice, and I still need to try the 44 deg's north huckleberry hooch..

Come on lurkers, the water is fine..

I'll bet you look fabulous! I had no idea you were a woman! Good deal.
Here's an iinexpensive gift idea to make all your friends with no idea of what Idaho looks like, green with envy:
Amazon.com: Idaho an Aerial Tapestry (PBS): None: Movies & TV

Great ideas--I love the Aerial Tapestry idea, Misty! That's something for hubby to give me!
Yeah, Trace, didn't mean to be deceptive, I guess I just came across as one of the dudes.

Try using a name like MistyRiver...though it keeps being shortened to Misty and then I sound like an exotic dancer or a very dumb blonde( no offense to any smart blondes out there). At least most people figure out I'm female.

You were right...there is a Misty River Ranch sign.
Not a guy though...you must not have seen my posts about Gerard Butler or Viggo Mortenson.
