Gives bull pen a whole new meaning--but I don't like to see them cooped up like that ...love the sight of the wintery landscape, though!

There is another place just like this, also on Hwy 95, about 15 minutes from us. There is no sign about meat for sale but it sure is a car stopper when people are going by. They seem to have more room here too. Nice hilly pastures.

CFF is right. Looks like Elk Penitentiary. We need to start calling Elousv Robin Hood. Elousv, what era does the pistol go back to?

I can only guess by the name "Hawken" that it is intended to look like the ones from the 1820s.

Ya know I've seen wild Bull Elk leap over things with one bound that would amaze you... Somehow I think if they really wanted out, they could get out... I gotta agree Im kinda conflicted about it, but they are being raised for food just like cows, or pigs or whatever.. They just moved the bulls into tha smaller pen also. Before they were in a much larger pasture..
Maybe its to call attention to the place, cause it sure gets people to pull over and take pictures and what not.. It is a beautiful ranch, and they do seem to take real good care of the animals..

Elousv, you sure are getting in the Idaho state of mind!!! With black powder and bow you will get alot more hunting season..

Elousv it sounds your like your pistol might be the type used by pirates and other brigands of the high seas. All you need now is a sword and a parrot. ARRRRRRRR...
