Happy anniversary! OK CFF picture this; I don't have pics but we just went for a nice walk in a heavy fog mist, mid 30's, no wind, clean fresh air smell, awesome. I don't know if it lake effect or not but it is like being at the beach.

Ahh, your killin' me back here in Socal. It took my family 25 minutes to go the last 200 yards to the soup plantation for dinner tonight, due to the traffic. And not a lake or a beach in sight.

Got back from scouting the St. Jo River. Water is down. Saw two Bald Eagles eating a deer next to the river. Sun was out most of the day and I forgot to bring sunglasses. Don't need em much in this state. Overall a good day trip.

Hey we found snow. We had to go clear to lookout. Here we are on a snowshoe adventure;

This one looked like the trees were airbrushed

I guess we were technically in Montana as I caught this just after leaving the parking lot.

I feel your pain. Did that gig for 39 years, and commuted at least 73 miles each way for 10 of those years.

One of the straws that broke the camel's back was going out on a date with my wife to Cheesecake Factory at Victoria Gardens (38 miles down the hill from Wrightwood) in Cucamonga and having it take OVER 3 HOURS to get home, for the THIRD TIME IN 2 WEEKS. My life-satisfaction was just in the toilet living there, and it was time to move.

I guess you should have taken her to the Outpost instead.

Thanks for the the report, Fish! Sigh...and for the snow pics, Elousv! I'm sure they made everybody feel good! We're in a new series of storms down here. Not so bad as long as we don't get flooded again...
Sunday we went for a wintery drive up in our local "mountains"...there was actually snow up in the heights, but we stayed at the 2500 ft level, and it was beautiful! Gloomy clouds, chilly breeze, cattle on the green slopes, bare trees--man, it could have been a March day in the NW! Here's a blurry grab shot out the car window.
