At Pat's! Of course! Haven't been there in decades, but I remember it well! I don't get to travel much these days--just work, work, work. (Better than "looking for work, looking for work, looking for work," I guess!). I'll have to make do with a trip to the beach from time to time...here's a few pics from Wednesday at high tide, with monster waves and 90F. (That's not the horizon line behind the pier in the second pic...those are waves breaking! )

Yes, a freak Nov. heat wave! Broke all records since the 19th century, I think. It was hotter at the beach than inland. Pretty spectacular! Now we're back to temps in the low 70s. As much as I long for cool days and mountain hikes, I'd be a total ingrate not to enjoy when the weather throws a couple of late-season beach days our way!

It was freakishly hot over here last week too. They (the news) said the last time there was a record high for nov was 1949; the start of 1950 resulted in record low temps, and record snowfall. I say this because a girl can hope history will repeat itself!

That crazy warm weather made its way all the way to WI this week as well. We tied our record high yesterday with 64 degrees - sure was a beautiful day!

Big bow hunting plans this weekend though -- we need that front to get here to get those deer movin!

Hi gang! Sorry its been so long since I've checked in... I've been super busy with work, and tons of E-mail so my net time is pretty limited..
After work, duck hunting, and chasing bucks around, there just isnt much time in the day..
Once the weather gets rougher I'll probably be indoors more and have more time to hang out on the porch..

I hope all is well with my friends on CDF!

Yay, the Tracemeister is back! Good to see you again, we've missed you! Just go out and have fun with animals , and when the snow starts piling up, come back and get warm on the porch, and catch up!

Now you've stumped me. I haven't been to a concert in a million years. My 15 year old just went to her first concert this weekend in Spokane at the Knitting Factory with her 22 year old sister though.
I listened to the group on her ipod and it just sounded like a lot of screaming. That settles it: I'm officially ANCIENT.
