Cool Weather in Idaho

Hi there. I'm wondering how sunny it is there in Idaho Springs? I've heard it's got a low cost of living and a low crime rate. I love snow but I need alot more sun than New England. I'm looking at a move to Colorado in a couple of years and am wondering if Idaho Springs has similiar amounts of sunshine.
