Old Barns in Idaho!
I can't find the thread where we talked about old barns in Idaho, so I thought I'd just create a thread and post some pics! I should probably have a bumper sticker saying, "I break for Old Barns"... If you have any ID barn pics, or know of some good locations for old barns, please share!
This one is in Clark Fork, by the railroad tracks.
This one is from somewhere near Plummer, I believe.
And this one is my favorite, from the Selle Road area north of Sandpoint.

Your pictures aren't coming thru CFF.
I'm gonna be a rebel here and post pictures of our two cedar barns even though they aren't old. We built them ourselves and it gives me a chance to brag on them.

Thanks for letting me know! Hope you can see them now!
Love your barns--and hopefully some day they'll be Old Barns!

Can see the pictures now and love 'em. I've been on a hunt for some of my pictures for about a month now. When I locate I am certain there are barn pics for me to scan in.
Thanks for sharing!

More barns!
Cleosmom, bring'em on ! I found some more pics of ID barns from another roadtrip--and the barn in the first two pics below was so spectacular that I'd go back to Mackay just to take more pics...hope it's still there...
This one is from somewhere near Salmon:

Here's one from around Bonners Ferry:

Fiasco, that's beautiful! And fall colors, too! I think a lot of us have an Inner Old Barn Geek trying to get out! I have some more pics--will post them soon. Trace, take your time, finding old barn pics has got to be rather low on your list of priorities right now !

I painted (watercolor) this old barn and windmill that sits out on the Palouse back in the early 1980s. Last time I was by there (3 yrs ago) it looked the same, still standing in splendid isolation amid the wheat stalks.
