Default Moving to Coeur d'Alene

My wife and I are planning on moving to Coeur d'Alene by next summer. We have already been there a few times and have a pretty good idea of how to go about the logistics of moving there and getting settled.
She will be going to the college for Nursing and I will be working. However, I am a little worried about the job market there. I work as a construction manager currently. Can anyone enlighten me on the current construction industry situation in CDA? Are there many jobs to go around?

Also, if anyone has moved there in the past in a similar situation I would love some input or if anyone has any information on construction companies that are hiring I would certainly appreciate it. Any tips or pitfalls to watch our for would also be helpful.

We are not loaded with cash and selling a house to buy another one there, so we have to get busy with gaining income from the start. We'll also need to find a rental but can't seem to find a good online resource for rental properties in CDA area.

The construction industry is pretty dead up here (residential). I know commercial construction firms are still doing business but I'd guess the field has thinned out greatly...

There is not that many online places to find rentals that I am aware of. You can try craigslist and on CDAPress.com As for the construction jobs I think Sage said it well. Sorry I can not help more.. if you needed info on hunting or fishing i could write a book. Good luck.
