Hi! I'm looking at some places to settle post-college (if you've seen this post in another forum, don't flip, I'm looking at other places too) What's it like in Idaho? I know that's a hugely generalized question, but valid. Is it really cold? What shape is the agriculture in there? I'm going to be seeking a small plot of land for a couple of goats, chickens, the 2 horses, two or three kiddos, the husband, and maybe 10-15 head of cattle. Maybe around 100-150 acres? How much does land cost? I'm majoring in agriculture education, would that be in pretty good demand in Idaho? Any other info would be great!

Welcome! Agriculture is definitely prominent in Idaho, but you would more than likely be looking Central Idaho. Up here North, there is still farms, but they are disappearing.
