I hope somebody will tell us about this place, I'm wondering too.
It looks beautiful, I have a feeling there aren't many jobs though.

We were up there last year and both towns were very cool. We especially liked taco Tuesday in Stites. We are from Ca. and gonna retire in 1 1/2 years in Kamiah. We loved the people and the area.

Good luck to you !

Nice small towns. Kamiah is the larger of the two, but they are only 7 miles apart. Lots to do if you like outdoor activities, and lots of clubs you can join for various activities. Not allot of night life, but not totally dead either. Low crime rates, most crime is from bored teenagers and that type of thing. Good local services, emt's, clinics, 3 hospitals within 1/2 hour, large grocery store in kamiah, a couple nice building supply stores, drugstores, hardware, etc... If you like the outdoors you'll never want for something to do, if you like city life it may not work for you.
