Hi, my family and I are taking a road trip through Idaho this summer and will be in Downey for 3 or 4 days to enjoy the hot springs and what looks like a fun water park there (Downata Hot Springs Resort). I was just wondering what else there is to do there within a 1 hour radius. My boys are 10 and 15 and we LOVE the outdoors! Open to any suggestions.

If you wanted to take a two hour drive, I'd suggest Craters of the Moon National Monument http://www.nps.gov/crmo/
