ZorroRojo,

Harris Publishing didn't get them mailed out when they wanted, with the 4th of July. I've asked that they start posting on their web site when they are delayed or late. They actually thought that was a good idea and have done what they need to do to be able to post that message, when needed.

Advertisements allow them currently to offer the magazine for free to metro areas, although they do have about 60 subscribers. (I read a post yesterday by editor Steve Smede). So the advertisements will always continue. However, the size of the magazine continues to grow.

What did you think about the magazine? What was the most useful as a potential new resident (when you can get everything to come together and you can move)? It helps to give Harris Publishing feedback. Also, remember they have general forums where you can post at the same address: www.Idaho (broken link) Falls Magazine.Com.

Thanks for letting us know and I do hope things are getting better in your life.

Very true! On my internet bookmarks I've created a section called "local events" and bookmarked just about all of the places you mentioned, plus a few of my own (ie movies, snake river landing, etc.). When we're feeling bored, I go to my bookmarks and see what's going on at each place. Looking forward to the Nutcracker Dec 8th with other family members this year!

I think we highlight MANY of the artistic events in the top 10 things to do in Idaho Falls, or in other posts. Search for the The Museum of Idaho or the Idaho Falls Arts Council in this thread. You may be surprised how often links to the arts have been given.

There is a wide variety of things to do and enjoy. From the symphony to specialized singing groups, like Sounds - where one member drives from Pocky to Idaho Falls to be involved- arts are a strength in Idaho Falls, IMHO.

Let us know what you find when you use the search feature (upper right hand side). Perhaps you want to start a thread about the Fine Arts, Music etc. in Idaho Falls. That would allow all to add various new art displays, museum exhibits, dance recitals, community activities in art etc. We could refer those who ask for info to one main thread each time, which would be a big help. I'd read the thread and add what I could, when I could. I think it would be a great idea.....

Thanks for reminding everyone how much if available locally! Sometimes, it is easy to forget as we get bogged down in our daily lives.

I look forward to more post from you, idaho falls, ID regarding all the cool annual and specialized events that occur in the in Idaho Falls.
