Default Fibromyalgia - Would it be good to move to southern Idaho??

Hi:

My wife has fibromyalgia. Has anyone out there moved from a more cold and humid state (i.e. Iowa) and had good success with reducing the problematic symptoms of Fibromyalgia?? I would love to hear either positive or negative responses. I have heard that warmer/dryer climates are better. I know Idaho is not necessarily warm, but at least in the summer months, its not too bad. Personally, I'd rather not move to the deep Southwest, but my wife seems to think that she would be better off in a place like New Mexico.

Thanks!!

Rich

You might get a better reply if you place this same post into the General US forum as others might have the same health condition and move from one climate to another.

I cant help too much, but I will give you my two cents. There seems to be a lot of folks I know who have Fibro, or have been DX'd with it anyway. Myself included. I dont buy it for myself... but my concern is this: It seems to be a fast and easy diagnosis for doctors here. I know that doesnt help you with your specific question. Good luck with someone who has more direct info. I hope your wife finds help and/or relief.
