wow can I do this? Single mom 44 years old 2 children 6 and 9. Moving to ID.............Will be serving the 9 year olds father with papers of my move when I actually get to that point. 6 year olds father is MIA. I am totally alone here, but, it has been my home my whole life and I have a lot of friends. Baptized LDS in May 09 so my "friends" well, it's different now. Feel alone..........Joining this church has maid me feel like I joined a people. My parents are gone and my siblings are not close. The only thing I will be leaving behind is my doughters dad (so what) and his family for my daughter and my old life/security of this land as my home. I am eager to leave here, very eager. I study psychology. Graduated form Everett CC with a transfer degree. I hold a cosmetology lic. for wash state, I am sure it is transferable. I run a personal business, a mobile hair care business for elderly and disabled people, all I need is a few retirement centers that need a hair dresser. I nice neighborhood ware my kids can play outside, good people who I can call family, and a nice place to live with a good school system for my kids, good day cares and a place to study and finish my BA in psyc. It's important for me to try to have time for myself and I hope to actually meet a good man to complete my wonderfully maid little family. SO the ? is can I have all this in Id. or Ut and what part, I am thinking Rex burg it may be that byu id. will accept my credits easier. I drive a 98 dodge caravan, i have studded tires, not a lot of winter ware. I am scared to move. but, want to. I am that single mom with the nack for bargain, I can acquire what i need and want by being thrifty. What are the resources for food clothing and shelter, house hold goods, and recreational stuff for kids.

If I were you I'd reach out to the LDS stake president's office at BYU-I for advice. They would probably be able to give you some help plus some connections to your home ward once you get settled in.
