Red face Relocating to Caldwell, ID

Hi. I am a single parent of an 8 year old. I'm considering moving to Caldwell, ID. I'm wondering a few things such as:
1. What is there for kids to do in the area? Sports? YMCA?
2. How safe is Caldwell?
3. What are the elementary schools like?

Your help is appreciated.

Sincerely,

DJH

Much to do in Caldwell for a mom and 8 year old. Don't worry about the gangs, havnt seen any. Parks are great, ymca is nice and new. Nice people, cheaper than Nampa. I would rather be in Caldwell than ant other city in the Valley......

Default Caldwell Armpit

I guess I don't live in the armpit everyone is talking about.
I know there is a few places I wouldnt live in Caldwell. I lived in Nampa before Caldwell and had many more problems there. Guess I got lucky so far with my area. I think the Caldwell PD do a great job @ keeping my family safe in this town. Then again, we keep to ourselves,

Cool Relocating to Caldwell

I'm considering Caldwell as I've been offered a teaching job there. I'm also considering living in Meridian and commuting. Comments?
