OMG why would you retire here? unless all you like to do is fish, then youre good. but youll freeze.

LOL you can ride dirtbikes or quads, you can snowboard or ski, you can jetski or boat on Pend Oreille or Coeur d'Alene (or Priest, or...), you can kick back around a blazing fire in your woodstove and enjoy the good life.

Plenty to do, and if you want city life, Spokane is only an hour or so away.

Who WOULDN'T want to retire here?

Seems by reading your other post in the Idaho forum that you're unsatisfied with with SE Idaho. Sorry to hear that, we moved out of the Central Valley almost 20 years ago and absolutely love it here. Having four distinct season, not one of which is dense fog, it fantastic.

Hope you wind up some place that you can call happy.
