Who is the open border crowd? Just to name a few:

Obama
Pelosi
Reid
Sen. John Kerry
The late Sen. Ted Kennedy (may satan rest his soul)
Local to me: Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino
Mass. AG Martha Coakley

Now watch him come back with more liberal spin-

Um, yeah- Ok prove that
If they need proof to see the obvious I can certainly do that.......

Considering there hasn't been ONE Adminstration or Congress that has done ANYTHING to close the boarders, I would say your list is extremely short, flawed and partisan. Which goes back to the poster statement of your addressing this to the WRONG CROWD.

Try living in the present instead of constantly blaming people from the past.

I agree with you it is 100% a bi-partisan issue. The problem being that we the voters keep swallowing their B.S excuses and believing their promises rather than holding them accountable by firing them for their many failures.
The worst disease this country has is party hard line voters. The my party wrong or right types.

I've never in my entire life found anybody who supports illegal immigration.
Then come to Miami for an hour. You will find all you can handle here.

This is easy. Get a large Crate, poke some holes in it, fill it with the animals that do not belong here and ship them via Fed Ex or UPS or USPS and send them home. End of Story!!!

Are you flippin serious? Had something been done after Reagan gave the last amnesty, we wouldn't be here today. I know how you would LOVE to blame this adminstration and the Democrats for everything, but illegal immigration didn't just occur this year. How about stopping the bias ignorance and recognize this is not a partisan issue.

You are correct. Both parties have been guilty for decades now.

We will never solve the illegal immigration problem for example until we have (among other things) a rational guest worker program. But such an idea is dead on arrival because people have some weird idea that it would "reward" people they don't want rewarded.

I would partially agree with this.

We DO need immigration reform, and we DO need a rational guest worker program.

But one of the conditions of that rational guest worker program should be that any illegal wanting to be part of the program has to leave the US (along with any family/relatives), return to his/her home country--and apply directly from THERE.

If we allow those who are here illegally to apply while they are HERE, that is most definitely a reward, and a type of amnesty.

Work out the details of the guest worker program--and put that requirement in place. No path to citizenship, no free healthcare, no free education, no free nothing.

I agree with most of what you have said. However, we already have ample guest worker programs, we have millions of Americans out of work and have to consider our population growth also. Even if these illegals returned to their homelands and applied to come here legally under a new guest worker program I would want it to be fair for different ethnic groups not just one in particular which would eliminate much of the Latino population here illegally from the program.

We do have several classes of work visas already, yes.

I agree with you that it has to be fair for all ethnic groups, and Americans need to be considered first. But for some Americans, it's easier to be on welfare and have multiple kids to keep on collecting that welfare--than it is to work.

So, that means extensive welfare reform also. If we made it far more difficult to sponge off the taxpayers, these welfare bums could be put to work doing the jobs that "Americans won't do."

Before ANY revamping and guest worker programs, however......there needs to be a mass deportation of every illegal in this country. I don't buy the bull that we can't do that...because we can.

There just isn't the political will, and that is bad for all of us.
