How exactly are children "forced" to attend a sex ed day? What is the school going to do if a child doesn't attend? Count it as an absence? Oooh, ouch. That is hardly force.

This is one story, talking about fisting is not going on everywhere and is not standard sex ed material despite what WND and other right wing editorial sources might like you to believe. Good gracious.

If it is part of the program, yes, they are required to attend.

Yep. You are so right. Here's an example in the link below. Required attendance. No parental notification. Total Porn Show for school kids. Court case. Judge ruled in favor of the school. Unbelievable. But true. Schools can and do, do anything they want with our children.

Wrong, puki. Read the court docs in the link below. Public school presented a porn show. Mandatory attendence. No parental notification. Court case. School won. Schools can and do, do anything they want with our children. Unbelievable but true. Wake up!

A case that is 15 years old and occurred in MA. Sounds like MA needs to get a couple of its sex ed teachers under control. This does reflect what is going on in the other 49 states very well and because these reports are so few and far between, I'm left with the conclusion this doesn't occur very often.

And again, attendance is mandatory, so if you don't go to school on sex ed day, what is the worst that can happen? An absence. Big deal. It isn't forced.

Many schools in the US do send notification home otherwise all of my friends with children that have gone to sex ed are lying to me.

Also, back in the early 90s when I was in school, the school sent notification home with the kids informing the parents that their children would be attending a sex ed class (girls and boys separated). Guess who stayed home? I did. Did the school send people to my home and force me to attend? No. Did I get an absence? Yes. Did anything else negative happen because of this? No.

Maybe in MA where I am left to believe that because a few pervs taught sex ed back in the early 90s that the "total porn show" happens all the time, all day every day, the children learn nothing else, that all public schools in the nation are kaput because the exact same thing is happening everywhere and everyone is totally powerless to do anything about it? We are all just victims of the public school system? I see.

PS - the conclusion of the case, if I read correctly, was not in favor of the plaintiffs. Their claims were found to be "without merit". I'm not saying that these incidents did not happen, but it cannot go unsaid that the case was basically dismissed.

puki, you missed the point of the case. You are right, the judge ruled in favor of the school. But if you read the court records of what went on in that school;e.g., a woman flirting with the highschool boys, simulating sex, calling one boy's baggy pants, "erection pants," telling another kid he had a cute butt, etc., and the fact that this assembly was mandatory and parents were not notified ahead of time, the fact that the courts ruled that all this was permissable in the public school, is very scary. Parents are pretty much at the mercy of the school their kids are in. School Might be okay this year, but next year starts getting taken over by a much more liberal, progressive bunch of administrators, etc. And apparently, according to this case, and lots others I have found, its all legal. I don't know about you but I don't want to take these kinds of chances with my kids. We have personally encountered some very edgy, radical, indoctrinating stuff this year in our middle school, so I know it does happen, from what I've read and from what I've experienced. You may feel different and we may just have to agree to disagree. I just realized we have been bantering back and forth on this Illegal Board and we have digressed. Probably should be on the Politics Board. Anyhow, see you over there if you want to continue this discourse or if not, have a good day.

You can thank the commy socialist teachers unions for this . You ain't seen nothign yet now that obeyme has made them part of his government .

All teachers should protest this treason against their nation to their seditious union, but they won't . Thats ok ,the nation they sacrifice through their silence for more perks will not just fall for us but they too will live to regret it .

Americans are the fault . Amercians stand silent while invaders march in their streets . We will get the nation we deserve .

At least I can rest assured the illegals , their suppoters and and all the apathetic complacent Americans will all be here to suffer the tyranny of 500,000000 people fighting over resources and food.

I had a tenor teacher removed for pounding her 3'rd grade class with politics. This was in the 80's. This indoctrinating of our students to go against America will stop once we get these illegals out of our Country.

It disgusts me the low this group of advocates will go to overthrow this Country. If anything, it enrages Americans.

this is the whole point, its just to many darn crazy people that become teachers, for some off the wall agenda.once they are empowered they think they are gods. no longer representing the parents or society for the whole, this is why every single person i know with kids in ca goes to private schools. So the public schools are turely running a muck.

As the buck tightens the costs of private schools may become no longer affordable, and when these people want or rather need to send their kids to public schools .. OMG look out. some I know recently under went this change and no way in hell did they fathom this wackked out.. la raza take over at the public schools. I say I told you years ago where you tax bucks were going, now pissed is it? call tony.. speak spanish.. and duck..
the white gulit is alll yours.
