You would loose. The contractors that use illegals also use legals. They do not pass on any savings to the consumer. I doubt that any business passes on the savings. They simply keep it and call it profit.

there is a difference between a liberal and a democrat, you sound more like a democrat than a liberal to me. after all, I dont know of any liberals that are against illegal immigration, but I do know quite a few democrats that are.

A illegal alien just hit and ran a 2 year old girl and killed her.

To address the post above without droing to there level.. Yes we came from LEGAL immigrants. I have absolutely no problem with LEGAL immigration but i have a huge problem with illegal immigration and the crime that comes with it. I don't want to hear the sob story of how that is the only way they can make it. For some that may be true and I do feel for them but in the end Illegal is Illegal and too many of there fellow illegal aliens break our laws and need to be sent home and a nice big fence needs to go up.

You're probably of the Walter Mondale, Ralph Abernathy type of liberal. Cesar Chavez himself was against massive illegal immigration because the UFW was smart enough to understand it's true purpose was to bring down wages and allow terrible conditions for the workers.

At some point the UFW and the liberals began to align themselves with the cheap labor corporations and others out to make a quick easy buck and they too realize it's all about lowering wages but they're for it anyway.
