3. There are so many of them here they drive down wages in entry level jobs.
4. They suck up tens of thousands of dollars in benefits without contributing.
5. They offer nothing to America economically. The only people who are allowed in should be educated people America needs, not illiterate border jumpers who sneak into the country in the dead of night.
These are all excellent reasons to put the "Armed Forces" and Mines on the US/Mexican border...

Ma'am, with your respect, you need to educate yourself a little bit first before posting mixed information. You are mixing 2 topics here. Legal with illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants, of course they pay taxes because they are identified before the law and if they don;t they are prosecuted.

Illegal immigrants, don;t pay taxes because they are unidentified creatures before the law; in other word, they are criminals. There are some case where they do pay taxes, and that can be done in 2 ways; with a false ssn, or a stolen ssn; and that makes the crime triple worst. That is another reason why we need to get rid of these criminals as soon as possible, and prosecute every single legal resident who is accomplice with the crime.

Good point, Iggle. Our friends who are illegaly crossing the border are pouring so much money in the economy that it will only cost 62.9 MILLION dollars, in Arizona alone, to clean up the trash they have spewed all along our southern border, but I mean after they drain our health care system and recieve social security and other government benefits they haven't paid in to and don't deserve why not let them litter? They are just doing the littering Americans won't do.

This article was releaed by azcentral dot com on June 3rd, 2007:

After three years of cleanups, the federal government has achieved no better than a 1 percent solution for the problem of trash left in southern Arizona by illegal border-crossers.

Cleanup crews from various agencies, volunteer groups and the Tohono O’odham Nation hauled about 250,000 pounds of trash from thousands of acres of federal, state and private land across southern Arizona from 2002 to 2005, says the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

But that’s only a fraction of the nearly 25 million pounds of trash thought to be out there.

Authorities estimate the 3.2 million-plus immigrants caught by the Border Patrol dropped that much garbage in the southern Arizona desert from July 1999 through June 2005. The figure assumes that each illegal immigrant discards eight pounds of trash, the weight of some abandoned backpacks found in the desert…

…In 2002, the United States estimated that removing all litter from lands just in southeast Arizona - east of the Tohono Reservation - would cost about $4.5 million over five years. This count didn’t include such trash hotbeds as Ironwood Forest National Monument, the Altar Valley, Organ Pipe and Cabeza Prieta.

Since then, Congress appropriated about $3.4 million for a wide range of environmental remediating measures in all of southern Arizona. This includes repairing roads, building fences and removing abandoned cars.

The five-year tab is $62.9 million for all forms of environmental remediating for immigration-related damage across southeast Arizona, including $23 million for the first year.

Most of the garbage is left at areas where immigrants wait to be picked up by smugglers. The accumulation of disintegrating toilet paper, human feces and rotting food is a health and safety issue for residents of these areas and visitors to public lands, a new BLM report says.

But I thought these were the poorest of the poor? How can they afford to buy, and then throw away, clothes, razors, ropes, batteries, etc?

(edited to add I hope my sarcasm is obvious!)

The armed services should only be at the US-Mexico border if they are going to do the work of increasing border security. It's a waste of money to order them down there with the orders to stand there and 'try not to get shot,' or worse, facilitate crossings into this country.

You cannot legislate desired policy outcomes by just throwing money and resources at the problem. The intent needs to be there, and it's increasingly clear that the STATED immigration and trade policies of this country are actually those intended by the lawmakers. Too often, "sound good" bills are passed, but expressly left unenforced because THEY do not want them enforced.

That is exactly why this sham of an amnesty bill would fail. The bill that would have allowed us to build a fence along the border passed, but that might have actually stopped some illegals from crossing the border so it was forgotten and who knows what happened to the money.

1. They overcrowd houses - two blocks by five blocks of 'single family' homes will fill up an entire elementary school.

2. They regularly block driveways and work on cars in the street - letting the oil and fluids run into the gutter.

3. They dump garbage in yards, not to mention bullet casings.

4. They regularly have loud parties in the street and front yards with innumberable guests.

5. They don't feel they have to follow any laws (no wonder, no one will do anything to them for fear of being called 'racist') and they will just stare at you if you dare to look at them breaking a law.

The good folks of Oklahoma have got an answer for these people.
It takes place Nov.1, 2007. We have had enough, and have passed a law
to not tolerate anymore.
What law? Can you post it?
