I can't say I am surprised, I had a feeling Goddard might take a dive. Goddard is all about votes - don't vote for him, Arizonans!

Now he confirms he won't touch the issue, leaving Brewer's own to do the job.

FOXNews.com - Arizona Attorney General Says He Won't Defend State's Immigration Law

Good for everyone else, bad for Arizona and its own A.G.

Hmmmmm......lets everyone know where his loyalties lie and it isn't with his own state. Certainly doesn't speak well for him. AZ needs an AG that will defend its state.

He made a very 'MISGUIDED' choice and proved he
has no backbone and from now on he'll be a non issue

I'd suggest he save his campaign funds and find a nice
quiet place in California

Folks, check your facts. Goddard as a democrat who is also running for the Govenors office was against SB1070. Brewer did not want him to defend the state because it would be a conflict of interest. However, he persisted that as the AG of AZ he would defend AZ regardless of his opinion about SB1070. He finally gave in and stepped aside.

It is a good thing folks! Brewer hired a good law firm.

IMO someone who is against the law cannot honestly defend it.
It's just common sense.
