OK that's it ... I need some duct tape my head is about to explode.
You all are so funny I haven't had a good laugh in awhile...I've been too busy calling and emailing Bush and the traitor Senators who are trying to give our Country away!
Ack! Off with their heads! *LOL* Actually, both of my Senators are against amnesty. Now I realize that doesn't mean they are anti-Mexican, or anti-spanish, but I am hoping that means they have sensse enough to realize that English is the official language and should leave it at that!
Anyone remember the song "This is not America" sung by David Bowie, for the movie "Falcon and the Snowman"? Well, each time I read a story like this that is what comes to mind. In that movie, the big problem was Russian espionage. Funny how times have changed in just one generation. I think you would be hard pressed to find a person who wouldn't consider the White House website in Spanish as downright un-American. I know I do. And if we're going to take that route, then where is the whitehouse.com website in Urdu, Swahili, Flemmish, Cantonese, Icelandic, etc.? Are we not showing favoritism to one particular branch of immigrants by making only one alternate language version available? Doesn't seem fair - that's not the American way.
