Now even a city fro somewhat conservative states like Indiana has joined the boycott of Arizona:

Bloomington joins Arizona boycott over new law

"BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Elected officials in the city that hosts the main campus of Indiana University plan to boycott Arizona businesses over that state's new Immigration law.

In a recent letter to Arizona's governor, the city of Bloomington said it will not purchase goods or services from businesses headquartered in Arizona or send city officials to conferences there. The letter was signed by Mayor Mark Kruzan, the city clerk, and eight city council members."

At first glance it looks like your post says Indiana Jones boycotts Arizona.

Misleading title. It should say Bloomington, IN not the state of Indiana. As someone who lives an hour South of the Indiana state line, I can't imagine that WHOLE state liking illegal hispanic immigrants moving in.

No, the whole state of Indiana would not be happy with illegal immigrants moving in. I actually would not be surprised if I saw that the majority of Hoosiers would like to see a law similar to the one in AZ. Bloomington is a liberal city in a very conservative state. I am from Indiana so I know. When I go home, I will not shop in Bloomington now.

As they illegally cross over into the US, they'll be singing "Indiana wants me...Lord, I can't go back now."

So yet another USA city feels federal laws should not be enforced (they are aware AZ's law is only following the federal law, right?)

Well city as in elected officials anyway - I wonder how the actual citizens of Bloomington feel about it?
