New York City went nearly went bankrupt in the 1970's. Was that caused by illegal immigrants?

The O.P.'s post is nearly comical. I read the article and tried not to laugh. Is this what passes for journalism. It used to be called Yellow Journalism.

The VAST majority of PUBLIC services in that flow to illegal immigrants flow from STATE and COUNTY coffers, not cities. As TheOne noted earlier, the city's fiscal woes are TOTALLY unrelated to illegal immigrants.

Too many here stop thinking and assume. Too many ignore facts and argue to no end for the sake of arguing.
