12 worker's fired for taking time off to protest Arizona's Law without calling in or notifying employer. Employees fired after missing work to protest immigration law

Just Brilliant, How do they expect their Employer to stay in business with half it's workers gone without notice ? Maybe they can think about this when they're unemployed.

They can't understand why they were fired instead of reprimanded like other workers who missed a day and did not call in. Doesn't take much brain power to know that it's easy to replace ONE worker for the day, but replacing TWELVE people is damn near impossible.
They deserve nothing... no job back, no back pay... nothing.

I cant believe these 12 plus their supporters, are trying to hurt this business, because of THEIR way of handling their beliefs. Some of them asked for it off & were denied & still did what they wanted, others just didnt show up...that to me means they ALL get fired! Just another example of how this whole illegal mess is hurting us all. I have never had a job that would have kept me employed for pulling this stunt...and I wouldnt blame them. But you watch, these 12 will win a big o'l lawsuit.

Just about any place I have ever worked "no call, no show" has been grounds for termination. Employees know this and when they blantanly break the rules they get what they deserve. True, they don't always get fired, but if they do...oh well.

"No call, no show" is indeed grounds.

Calling for some B.S. reason is also grounds. I can't afford the time off work to go protest something somewhere. I need the hours, and I need to be properly rested to do my job.

I never let myself call off for some B.S. reason because I was always worried they just might check up on me. lol I could never afford to NOT go to work either.

how is this "Legal mess' hurting us all? how is it hurting you?

what if these win or lose a law suit, how does that effect you.

Unless you didnt get served at Pei Wei's dinner, why should any law suit matter?

These 12 will pay the price according to the law, not because of your inconvenience.
