The "Oklahoma Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act of 2007"
was passed and signed on May 11, 2007. All illegals must get legal
or get out by Nov.1, 2007. they have plenty of time to relocate. It is
the toughest law on illegals in the country. dont full around with bitching
and complaining. Get ahold of your reps and get a law with teeth passed.
We had our pockets picked to the tune of $200 million just last year. The law
makes room for emergencys for anyone. BUT, no more welfare, free housing,
schooling etc. is coming out of taxpayer pockets.Anyone harboring these illegals in housing can go to jail too. Its got teeth, you need to read about it!!
If an illegal is hired to take a citizens job. The employer could be fined and go to jail.

If it is passed....on what level....state law?

Wonderful idea!! If this passes all over the USA, then we can solve this immigration mess w/o DC getting involved.

In case you all did NOT see, Obama and Grassley passed an ammendment to the Immigration amnesty bill (recently revived under Senate Bill S. 1639) to basically allow employers to continue to hire illegals w/o any work eligibility verification.

This should show you this amnesty is being set-up with 2 or 3 more to come in the next 10 years or so!!

Here is the article:

Oklahoma Gov. Henry signed this law, HB 1804 into law. It IS a state law.
If he had vetoed the bill, there was enough votes to override it. This bill
is straight forward. If you have started the process to become legal, than
you will not have a problem. But if you chose to be some kind of invisible person, that doesnt follow the laws of the land, dont expect a handout from
Oklahoma. What this law will do, is get illegals off dead center to become citizens. Some may have to wait years back in the place they came from, we can only take so many people now.

OMGosh...I like, I like, I like...HUHU.....*jumping up and down*
Our CITY ordinance for Hazleton/ PA is still pending, and STILL stuck in court. The more aggressive other states become, the more we have a chance to pass and push our simple city ordinance trough.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and remain optimistic !!!!

Would a federal amnesty bill passed override this state bill?

How would illegals get legal, this is what most Americans do not want...their population will doom the U.S.

Where I live they have the perfect illegal immigrant program. If someone comes to town that does not look or act like a tourist and speaks no english, everyone calls the police. The police come pronto, check their papers and if they do not have the right papers they are picked up and turned over to the border guards.

That's it? You mean to tell me you don't stone them to death in the town square? By the way, how does one look or act like a tourist? Hey Trudy, there is a dark skinned man wearing a camera around his neck and staring at a tall building. Should we phone the police?
