There go the Courts again construing a Law to have meaning not included in the principle and boundries it was argued and passed upon.

It's got to be all agenda driven as the meaning is more than clear to the common man.

Yes. From my understanding, the original intent was to provide citizenship to the Blacks after slavery was abolished. Correct? I think it is being used for an agenda now.

Like the current immigration laws, they are not being enforced.

Unofficially, the 14th is being used to give the anchor babies an advantage today.

As soon as everyone understand that, strip the anchor babies' statuses.

Now, let me get this straight.................If your here on a student or work visa, legally, and you were able to bring your spouse with you.........A baby is born in this country but they arent afforded citizen ship status to the baby.

Ok clear so far,
If your here illegally and you have a child, than that baby is afforded citizenship because?????????????????????

What exactly am I missing in this observation.

If one is not legal than how is the other legal?

We must contact members of Congress to get this overdue bill passed.

H.R. 1868: Birthright Citizenship Act of 2009

‘(b) Definition- Acknowledging the right of birthright citizenship established by section 1 of the 14th amendment to the Constitution, a person born in the United States shall be considered ‘subject to the jurisdiction’ of the United States for purposes of subsection (a)(1) if the person is born in the United States of parents, one of whom is--

‘(1) a citizen or national of the United States;

Uhm..........no they arent. Student and work visas do not afford citizenship status if the spouse has a child............and there in lys the problem.
We have allowed a minority opinion to sumvert the 14th to accomplish an illegitimate award of citizen ship to those breaking the law...............and that is the argument
