If a white supremacist group were protesting against a dangerous toxic waste dump that was poorly managed would their concerns be any less valid?
Illegals are a huge problem. A problem the FEd has grossly ignored for far too long. AZ has suffered greatly due to the FEDs weak approach to a very real problem.
I support their efforts and in spite of what some say the law does not target or allow for targeting anyone who hasn't first been stopped for a seperate violation.
In this case it sucks to be an illegal regardless of race or ethnic background. It should always suck to be a criminal.
I would think that the wealthy upper class wouldn't even be interested in re-locating to the U.S. so I am sure that it was Mexico's poor that overwhelmingly want to migrate here.
That was the case around 15 years ago. Due to the kidnappings and violence, many wealthy people are also going north.

According to the report, neither would a recesion and bad economy haly illegal immigration. So, they will basically still come here even when they know jobs are unlikely to be found, which results in the increase in assistance towards impoverished illegal immigrants and them just hanging around looking for work. That's just what the US needs: more people without jobs.
More and more illegal immigrantion is not about jobs, they know our government will provide very well for them if they never work a day in their lives here. That's why our high unemployment rates are never mentioned in these reports, the illegals know all about the welfare handouts and how to access those programs.
If jobs mattered, you'd hear an illegal complain about lack of jobs at least once in a while.

IMHO, if you want to come here and you do it illegally, you need to get deported. There are many people doing it the legal way -- why should they be hurt by illegals and amnesty. That is not racist, it is common sense.
If the first thing a person does is to break the law by entering the country illegally, should that person not be considered a criminal?
I am sure people from many nations would like to come here. If they can support themselves and come in like LEGAL immigrants have to by the LEGAL process, fine. let's not have people whose first act here is criminal just by coming illegally

Yes they do and that's a problem. They not only can take jobs - which they can take because employers of illegals aren't required to follow the wage and labor laws, they can pay their illegals less than minimum wage, they can save a lot of money because they don't have to pay them overtime. They don't have to pay into workman's comp or provide health care.
And illegals can come in unlimited numbers to unfairly compete with Americans for jobs. They actually do hurt the chances for legal immigrants to come because they make it easy for employers to avoid going through the steps to sponsor immigrants for true labor shortages. So illegals also unfairly compete with would be legal immigrants by avoiding the work visas and again because of their willingness to work for illegal wages and live off many government handouts to fill the gap between their low wages and the high cost of living in this country.
